The focus of the DF-1 Dance Team is to provide an opportunity outside of the studio for dancers ages 5 to 18 to showcase their talent in competitive and non-competitive arenas.  Acceptance and participation in this group will encourage growth as a dancer, charisma as a performer, and confidence as an individual as well as a team.

The dance team consists of highly motivated, dedicated performers who are accepted by audition each year.  Acceptance is very selective and is based upon technique, dedication, attitude, and stage presence.  Dancers are cast into pieces according to their age and/or ability.  Rehearsals are every Saturday at a set time for each dance.  There are a number of class requirements and a strict attendance policy.

Upon acceptance, each dancer is required to pay a Dance Team registration fee to cover the cost of a personalized DF-1 warm up.  There is a $50 monthly team fee ($10 each additional team.)  For more information, please see the director.
